....Is what the headlines will read if you do not drink enough water!

My buddy SK mentioned something about water intake in the most recent crappie tourney results, and it brought to mind a stat I came across some time ago.

It was along the lines of:

If you remain in bed COMPLETELY still for THE ENTIRE day with the AC cranked to 70....

You will STILL lose a litre of water from simply breathing.

Any physical exertion just requires MORE water.

You smoke? Even more water needed!

Sweat lost...water needs replacing.

So, without moving a muscle, in the AC....you still need a gallon a day!!!!

Oh yeah, should you want the body's waste removal systems to work even marginally well...guess what you need? More fiber! Joking ...MORE WATER! Food never moves through the body dry. Micronutrients can't be absorbed without adequate water.

Please don't die on the lake. I would hate to use one of those white crosses as structure that possibly holds fish. So, if you don't want me making a fishing hole of your memory, DRINK ENOUGH WATER!!

Good day and be well!

I just made a post about this yesterday or so

Guys and gals be very careful out there in this heat, it will sneak up on you bad. Went out Thursday and did not think I was gonna make it back without help. Was hot but felt okay for most of the time. Shortly after noon started having tougher time breathing (only have one lung) and would have pain if trying to take a deep breath. Tried to drink some water and my whole body started cramping up instantly. Felt so weak couldn't even stand to drive boat back, I ended up sitting down in the boat and friend drove back. I could feel heat stroke sitting in and was just delirious feeling. --- I had been sick earlier this month since the 3th with almost 3 straight weeks of unable to keep anything down, so I do feel that played a major part as just wasnt fully hydrated yet and tried to go to soon but also found out today that was bad air warning yesterday, which anyone with one lung or just unhealthy lungs will know it's killer on you. All in all it was horrible day but did manage some flounder though.

Yes sir that heat will sneak up on you . People need to drink plenty of
water in this heat. Do not wait till you are thirsty to get a drink that
is too late. You get heat exhaustion out there and you will just get delirious
and weak where you can not hold your head up. Put some DRIP DROP in
your water or put it in gator aid

nice flounder.

Hope you get to feeling better

My heart goes out to you, PBR. The elements are a force with which one should not toy. You see what the sun did to Mercury, right! Glad to know you got back OK.

It's so hot out there, although I've yet to have a cooler full of fish, if I had one full of fish and ice....yes....I'd drink the fishy water runoff! As would anyone that in need of hydration.

Crappie iced tea!! Soak your fish, till the ice melts, remove fish, and enjoy the "slimy yet satisfying" drink. Strain if necessary!

Be safe, everyone!
Besides, there is nothing wrong with having a conversation piece about how you had to drink "crappie-ade" to make it back to the ramp!
