Guys were out in full force with several clean up barges today in east fork. Lots of small pieces of trees, branches and vines floating in the river was the only downfall. Wind wasn't helping things either. Looks like they got a lot accomplished in the 9 hours I was out there.

I took some drone footage of the barges at BJ's that I'll past up soon.... there was a lot of crappie houses destroyed but the lake will look good after....
They have already been through skiers cove and took some good stuff that wasn't on the bank also.... If they can see a twig sticking out of the water they are taking it....I tried to get to drop some of those trees they had cut in some of the deeper water but they wasn't having it.....

Maybe I should stop marking brushpiles in my GPS, seems I keep having to delete them when I go back for a second look...

If and when I can get back to fishing, it’ll be like starting over again with all the changes going on. Was at my bro in laws place on San Jacinto river a couple of weeks ago and it looked like barge city going by. I figured it was trash from the lake.

Thanks SK. Was that at BJ’s marina? That’s a lot of trash. I’m glad it’s being removed.

i got my anchor hung up one day on the south side. Fortunately, i was in only 10'-12' of water.
My cheap self swam down (rather pulled myself down the rope) and un-hung it.
