Y'all think they can get the clean up barges under the Luce's bridge at Ponderosa? I doubt it. So maybe they will just clean from there to the mouth at the lake?? Anybody heard?

We put in at Dunham yesterday and ran all the way to the homes on the W Fork @ Belleau Woods. ( 24 miles round trip)

About 90% of the wood in the water is completely gone now. Everything there on the S bank at Dunham in Caney is all gone, all that stuff at that big horseshoe is gone, all the rootballs along the S bank where E end park is are gone, everything across from Commons beach is gone. Everything E and W of WHLP bridge is cleaned out. I am quite impressed. We found a couple of small keeper LMBs still though up in the E fork. Water color was poor in main lake decent up in the upper stretches of W and E fork. Temp 90-92. We will be out tomorrow for monthly bass club tourney.

yeah 10-4 on that. I was assuming they would have to haul the trees out by going under the bridge. But I guess they could find a spot upstream of the bridge to unload.

Wow, thats a lot of timber.

Anyone know what they're doing with all of it??

There's a big pile of stumps and timber on FM1960 just inside Liberty County. I assume it's from the lake.

I drove down to their staging area off Hamblen about 7 last night to see if the dredge guys were moving equipment in ( they were not) looks like they are pulling barges out over there. Drove to waters edge, river is nice and green.

Interesting point I saw was 2 lower units leaned up against trees and a trailer with hydraulic oil and at least a dozen prop boxes!! They had two on trailers and not a good ear on any of those props, beat to heck!!

I tried getting video of those Yamaha's as most of'em looked like they were gonna fall off those barges but you can't really see how much slop/movement they had on vid.....I guess them pushing that much weight and goin in those shallow areas took a toll on them.....
There's gonna be a bunch of Yammies on the different outboard motors for sale list coming soon....LOL
