41.49 now on LH and Conroe is lower than pool so they probably won’t be releasing...
There was major rain but it seemed to be to the left and right of us...
Today was the hardest we received so far...

There was a trash line about an acre in size on the Atascocita side just north of the bridge...
looks like exposed debris floated to the top. Probably by Walden now...

So everyone has gotten 5"+ of rain today and I did not hear any pomp and circumstance about draining the lake level this go-round. How the heck could that be? I guess that that laughing stock of a councilman who represents KW and Mayor Turnip must be off today.

Praying for all the river rats that must be flooded out by now...or maybe the debris removal must have done the trick and the COH had saved all of Kingwood from any future floods.

Confused.

I believe the original forecast was for 3-4" and evolved to 5-6" with some southern areas getting 8" today. There was plenty of street flooding around town. Heard West Fork would crest tomorrow evening only 1' over flood stage which shoudnt hurt Kingwood. All and all most rain stayed far enough south of San Jac and its tributaries to reduce flooding potential.

Dropping lake Houston level to 41.5 effective immediately.
Again; no notice.
Dropping due to weather forecast.
