Is the boat launch off 2100 and Wolf Rd / New Caney rd still there? If so what is the max boat can launch run from there? Been many many yrs ago and not sure if that place even there anymore or if can get 18.5 center console cajunmaster in there or not. Gonna hit the river in the morning and if no luck probably the lake / luces Thursday. It's just been over 30 yrs since been there or the area.

It used to be little joe's ponderosa but
new owners took it over and put in a new
very good ramp and it is called ponderosa Marina now

cost $7 to launch there just a pay box on a tree at top of ramp.

there used to be another ramp on the other side of the bridge called
stranges marina but it closed and is no longer there.

it will launch a big boats .

Thanks -- getting ready to head out here shortly. I couldn't remember the name for nothing it been so long. Looked it up on facebook but either is totally different or its a different place than im talking or could be talking about old one closed. Coming from 1960 heading out you would turn left and it was down on the right side around a corner. seems like it was little cove and would drive down the inlet to luces then could turn right or left we mainly turned right and fishing all the trees. but again been so long could be wrong, dont remember any bridge right there

Go north on 2100 from 1960 , turn left on Crosby/huffman rd. There is a fuel max gas station on northeast corner, and a new school being built on southwest corner, its the first left past the cemetery that u will pass on the left. Once u take the left go about a 1/4 mile you will come to a bridge going over kuce bayou the ramp is on ur right, if u go over the bridge u have gone to far

Wow I had totally forgotten about Harvey and wow did it tear up the river. Whole time I was like what the heck happened, then finally hit me hadn't been there since Harvey and wow. Fishing wasn't that great or at least for us. Caught a few nice channel cats and couple crappie. Lost a couple big crappie right at the boat. Water was so low and out so much didn't even try to get into eddy's, had enough trouble unloading boat as was right at the ramp drop off with tires. So we fished at the dam right up by it, all in all still nice day though.

Good Times Marina -- yea he had a blast, his first fishing trip, he been boat riding a few times but first fishing trip and he loved it. Every time set a hook or start reeling fast he would run over by you and start looking over the boat waiting to see the fish - lol -- he has major personality
