I could use two. One for freshwater and the other for saltwater. :)

Yall ever been in an offshore survival raft? This is what it looks like to me. I have to get in one every 2 years and those 10 minutes are WAY more miserable than the 10 helicopter dunkings I have to go through. I would hate to be on this in any kind of wave action.

Sticko,

Agree on the ptotected water but why go with air filled raft? The “rollicky frollicky” floor is what I really dislike about them. Be like fishing standing on a water bed I bet lol. Why not just pitch a tent on a boat? Some of the big johns or pontoons could easily handle a tent. Get all the benefits of a boat (rigid floor, motor, stronger hull, etc) combined with the tent. :D i was actually already thinking of ways to add a temporary top from the bimini on mine to the front of the boat for camping as I could easily sleep 3 on mine (1 between consoles and 2 on casting deck).

pontoon would be great with a tent and cook stove . Big coffee pot on these cold nights

sleeting balls of ice here tonight in La Porte.

Definetly much cheaper. The one place I could really envision its use is on remote lake. Probably would be able to pack it in and inflate.

I could see the sleep being nice.

It really would come down to how the floors are designed (stiffness). All the ones I have been in have just been way to “rubbery” in the floors. Ive actually seen people get “sea sick” in them in a pool during training hahahaha. Now that I have laughed it will probably happen to me lol.

Im with you on the poontoon. Dad has one the same length as my jet jon but it has way more room.
