Lake is lower than it has been since Oct 2015 but hard to tell with all this wind.

Based on how high you have to step up at Ponderosa onto the tie up area, it is down close to a foot.

As of 5:30 PM, the lake is 1'6" above conservation. waterdatafortexas.org updates it every half hour. About 16-18" from breaching the docks around Walden/Mid-lake. Good new is last report shows it slowly dropping

I wish the level dropping was the case but I doubt it with these 24 hour rainfall totals as of 630pm

12 hours ago the level was 43.32. At 7:30 this morning it is 43.23. I am staring right at my dock and it is pretty much the same as last night. I keep a pretty close eye on it and the data doesn't lie. If it comes over my dock, I have to move two boats.

muddy water affects the fishermen a lot more than it affects the fish.
the fish are not going to leave because the water is muddy where would
they go its all muddy and they have to eat to live but they will get out of
the current but close to the current .

In all actuality the feesh eat everyday, rain, sleet or snow....but those conditions effect how the bait is presented, can't forget about wind & I think it's worst than all.....IT AIN'T EASY & EASY is what most are searching for....They want to put their boats in the water & the feesh fall out of the sky right into there live wells then when they get off the water they want the feesh to come out of their live well as filets.......
Feeshn's like anything else, you get out of it what you put in it....time on the water is priceless, even with all the reading & vid watchn I do I'll rather put my own opinion together of what's gonna put MY crappie in MY boat out of MY lake....
Yeah at times it can be easy catchn pitching a minna up on the bank but I'd prefer not to take the feesh protecting the beds....but like I said most like easy & that's what they target.....it'll be CRAPPY SEASON in a COUPLE months....LOL..blue sky's, no wind, no rain, no current, pleasant temps & the feesh hitting minnas being pitched up on the banks.... 8)
