Wednesday was one of the best days fishing I've ever had on Lake Houston. Me and my nephew were in the water by 6:30am getting rained on. Caught 2 large mouth right off the bat in LB on spinnerbaits. Then between 7:30 and 8:00am I hooked into the biggest bass I ever took off Lake Houston. When I got her in the boat after praying please don't come off, she weight 9lbs 2oz on my scale. I know she was not that big but she was well over 5lbs. I went to Houston Marina, but with no luck. I called my buddy who lives close to the lake and he came down and weighted it for me. It weight 7lbs 6oz and 23 inches long. My buddy brought me another battery for my scale and I weighted her again and this time got the same reading he did. I have pictures, but no way of putting them on the computer. I will be keeping one on my boat right next to the wife and kids if anyone wants to take a look. Also that 7lb 6oz bass is still swimming around in LB just a little smarter.
