SK i hope you get over the crud i know the fish missed you this weekend
I will let you know how the lake is and how the fishing goes today.
You would think some of the people that live there on the lake would
help us that live a two hour drive from the lake with lake conditions.
Guess it doesn't really matter going to catch a few fish anyway with the
good Lords help.

Take it easy... take it easy...
The lake looks great from my bathroom window. Not glassy but a little ripple.
It was rocking and rolling all weekend and chilly. Waves crashing and fishing trashing...
Conroe is only releasing 402.
Looks like a great day to go out; if the fish have calmed down from the miserable weekend...
Good luck...
SK, get better soon... aren’t you defending your title this weekend???

Thanks ya'll....
Ooohhh does this fleem taste terrible....
Feeling better, made my 4hr track last night hoping to work threw this crappola .....
This coming w-end tourney is up in the air, the predicted high winds and rain gives the local fellas the upper hand.....
And they are hitting all my holes especially that Butzs fella 8)
Then I got SK jr. (SkinnyKenny) tearing a couple of my holes up and then Lamar comes right behind him to catch any that jr. leaves

But SK does a great version too...

I went to work in FTW once and got deathly ill. Spent Monday to Friday morning in the motel room. Scraped myself out of bed to drive to Chick-fil-A for the chicken noodle soup every day. Drove home Friday and never went to the plant. Good thing was that I quit smoking my Swisher Seeets with the wood tip because my throat was so bad. 5/5/11....

Thanks for the report okay then I mean okden. I stayed in the bayou all day so can not
report on the rest of the lake. water temp 64 when i got there. water off color but not
to bad is trying to clear up. With high pressure and bluebird skies the water temps cooling
off had the fish hesitant to bite early. could see schools of crappie huddled up right on the
first drop but very slow to get them to hit. Fishing picked up as the day went on and the water
warmed . Fish really turned on from 1 pm to 3 pm still catching plenty nice fish from the bayou.
Monkey shine or chartreuse glitter putting some better fish in the boat. 8-11 feet down tight
to the wood.
Good luck to you all on saturday forecast of sat. mostly east wind gusting from 17-24 mph
slight chance of rain around 10:30 am air temp 62-75. Houston does have some protection
from the east wind just because of the way the trees are situated on the bayou and east fork.
